These Terms govern your use of fortisonegov.com, the public marketing website operated by Fortis One Holdings ("Fortis One"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About Fortis One
Fortis One is a private U.S. technology company. We are not a government agency and we do not represent any federal, state, or local authority. The Fortis One platform described on this site is sold to state agencies under separate written agreements; this site itself is informational.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without our written permission.
- Use automated tools to scrape the site at a rate that degrades service.
- Impersonate Fortis One or any person or entity.
3. Intellectual property
All content on the site — including text, graphics, logos, the "Fortis One" name, the platform descriptions, and the field guides published under Resources — is owned by Fortis One or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may view and reference the public guides for internal government use with attribution; you may not republish or commercially redistribute them without our written permission.
4. Submissions
If you send us ideas, feedback, or proposals through the contact form or by email, you grant Fortis One a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve our product and services. Don't send us anything you consider confidential without a signed agreement in place.
5. No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." Fortis One disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortis One and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fortis One from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites for reference. Fortis One does not control and is not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
